June 16, 2008, it hit me. My oldest kid, H, is now officially a senior in high school.
This was my wake-up call. Not only am I treading into the unknown territory of being the parent of a senior, I also am at a major transition point in my own life. For the last 17+ years, I have been a MOM. Yes, I work, and yes, I do other things, but I am the mother of four kids, and my major focus in life has been raising those kids.
In a few short months, H will be leaving the nest, and heading out on his own. And, since I had my four kids in a little over five years, the next few years are going to be a whirlwind of graduations, college applications, and talks about “What am I going to do?”
I need help!
Have you been there, done that? Are you guiding your teenager through their last year of high school, too? Or, are your kids a little younger, and you just want to be prepared?
Either way, I am looking forward to sharing with you. Hopefully, we can make this transition easier together.
Thanks for sharing Tabitha Time with me!
